Daily Meditations – Saturday, December 28, 2013

James 4:6 – “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

Humility is not unworthiness. Humility is being aware of who others are in God’s sight and being aware of who I am in Christ and acting on it.

Matthew 12:37 – “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

Affirmation

I LET MY WORDS CREATE THE CURRENT THAT SWEEPS ME INTO THE HEART OF GOD.

Luke 9:23 – “And He was saying to them all, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’”

WHEN JESUS CALLED HIS DISCIPLES, IT WAS FOR TOTAL COMMITMENT. THEY HAD TO BE WILLING TO LEAVE EVERYTHING TO FOLLOW HIM, AND SO DO WE. IF HE IS NOT THE LORD OF ALL, THEN HE IS NOT OUR LORD AT ALL.
