1 Corinthians 4:20 – “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of words, but of power.”
The lack of miracles isn’t because it is not in God’s will for us. The problem exists between our ears. As a result, a transformation – a renewing of the mind – is needed, and it’s only possible through a work of the holy Spirit that typically comes upon deserate people.
Most church people are ordinary people who serve an extravant Father. The only great person is Jesus. All the rest of us simply make room for God, believeing Him to be good 100 percent of the time.
Loving God and His people is an honor. We will no longer make up excuses for powerlessnes because powerlessness is inexcusable. We are on a quest for the King and His Kingdom.
QUESTIONS TO CONFESS AND MEDITATE:
1. What do you think helps create an opportunity for a miracle to happen?
2. How have miracles affected your life? Have you experienced a miracle or seen one? If so, was there an atmosphere for the supernatural? What was it like?
3. Who needs a miracle in your sphere of influence? Name the person and the specific miracle needed. What is necessary to bring about each miracle?
4. Explain why salvation is the biggest miracle of all. Who do you know who needs salvation? How might this miracle come to them?
