The Holy Spirit now lives in our inner man to strengthen us and help us to do what we could not do without Him. God’s kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer’s inner man.
“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man…..that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” – Ephesians 3:16,19
If our true desire is to have God enthroned in us — well, that is all the difference. When we want God above all, we are willing –as Christ was willing — to follow the Holy Spirit, even in the most dry and dark and painful times. This is the love of God.
The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be “pressed into.” We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press.
“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.” – Luke 16:16
The most wicked of sinners is only one revelation away from salvation.
